SEXYY RED KICKS OFF BEAUTY BRAND WITH NOTABLY NAMED LIP GLOSSES

With a collection of lipglosses, Sexyy Red is launching her beauty empire, and the names of each product are as outrageous as one could anticipate from the outspoken rapper.

On Monday, August 19, Sexyy announced the products on social media. She said that the brand name is NORTHSIDE PRINCESS and that the lipgloss shades are “Coochie Juice,” “Bootyhole Brown,” “Nut,” “Pussyhole Pink,” “Yellow Discharge,” “Gonorrhoea,” “Blue Ballz,” and “Sex on the Beach.” She clarified that the final one has a fruity fragrance.

“I’m very excited to introduce my brand, NORTHSIDE PRINCESS, and my first product will be my lip gloss,” she added. Sexyy Red has actually marketed these bizarre lip glosses previously; in fact, they were first offered for sale long before she became well-known in 2019.

Nonetheless, it seems like she retooled, as she discussed the new line in an interview from the previous year. She said to Interview Magazine in September of last year, “Y’all better shop with your girl, because I got a lip gloss line dropping soon.” “I received a variety of flavours, including Nut, Gonorrhoea, Yellow Discharge, Coochie Juice, Bootyhole Brown, and Coochie Pink.”

Regarding music, Sexyy Red has honoured the release of her first gold and platinum recordings by disclosing the unexpected history of one of them. Tuesday, August 13, saw the platinum certification of the St. Louis rapper’s breakthrough single, “Pound Town,” and the gold certification of her song, “Get It Sexyy.”

She shared the creation process of “Get It Sexyy” on Instagram the next day to commemorate the event. Unexpectedly for a song that is so joyous, the singer was experiencing depression on the night that “Get It Sexyy” was written.

“I was going through a lot after giving birth to my baby, feeling depressed and going through postpartum…,” the statement reads. I would be left in the studio by my team in Miami to write music, and I would simply sit there crying and reflect on life,” she started. “I finally told them to send me back to St. Louis so I could see my loved ones and come back to you! After inviting all of her sisters and friends to her studio session in St. Louis, she said, “It really was a confidence booster for me. We had blunts, bottles, and food alley. I came out wit GET IT SEXYY GET IT SEXYY.”

“We were so happy, and all of my sorrows were gone. I adore my family,” “I was monain in the song cause my h0 was behind me humpin me while I was recording,” she joked in her closing remarks.
