MEGAN THEE STALLION’S ‘MAMUSHI’ VIDEO WILL BE RECORDED IN JAPAN AFTER A SUCCESSFUL LONDON SHOW
After a sold-out London gig, Megan Thee Stallion is still pushing hard for the “Mamushi” video, travelling to Japan.
Meg hinted at her upcoming destination on Instagram on Saturday, July 20, when she posted a montage from her Hot Girl Summer Tour performance at O2 Arena.
After a sold-out London show, MEGAN THEE STALLION is heading to Japan for a video shoot of “Mamushi.”
Yuki Chiba, a Japanese artist, joined her at the performance, and together they debuted their collaboration, “Mamushi,” for the first time.
In the video, the Houston Hottie performs in front of a sizable crowd while her devoted followers sing along to her songs.
The post’s caption read, “London was a movie.” [Emojis with five stars] For the MAMUSHI VIDEO, we recently arrived in Japan [three hand clap emojis]. Then, DC cuties, I’m headed your way [four fire emojis].
During Meg’s time in London, things weren’t perfect.
The rapper had to conceal her genuine emotions earlier this week after encountering pro-Tory Lanez hecklers in the United Kingdom.
The “HISS” rapper was shown passing a gathering of people in a leaked video when a few of them yelled, “Free Tory Lanez.”
Upon hearing the jeers, Megan not so quietly produces an expression of distaste and puts her palm to her nose.
Jokes about Megan Thee Stallion being shot by Tory have not gone down well with her.
She criticised her fellow musicians last year for their lack of backing following Tory’s conviction for shooting her multiple times during an intoxicated altercation in July 2020.
She penned a stirring opinion piece for ELLE in which she stated: “My assailant made fun of my pain for years. My assailant propagated false accounts of what transpired on July 12, 2020, for years. My assailant sought to use social media to undermine my authority for years.
How would it feel to be called a liar on a daily basis? particularly from someone who used to be a member of your close circle.
She went on, “Even though people treated my trauma like a running joke, I persevered when I could have let the adversity break me.” Conspiracy theories first claimed that I was never shot. Then followed the lies that said I was shot by my old best friend.
“Even some of my colleagues in the music business overlooked the possibility that I might have died and instead heaped on with jokes, memes, and sneaky disses. Rather than denouncing any kind of violence against a woman, these people attempted to rationalise the acts of my attacker.”
