METRO BOOMIN ANNOUNCES SPECIAL ONE-NIGHT ONLY ‘& FRIENDS’ SHOW IN HIS HOMETOWN.

 

Metro Boomin is getting ready for “Metro Boomin and Friends,” a unique one-night event that will take place in his birthplace of St. Louis, Missouri.

The event will take place at The Pageant in the Gateway City on Monday, July 29. The producer announced the announcement on Friday, July 19.

Live Nation will begin accepting reservations for tickets on Monday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The performance serves as a prelude to his We Trust You Tour with Future, which makes its debut at T-Mobile Centre in Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday, July 30.

After there, Pluto and Metro will make their way to a number of cities, including Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, Houston, Las Vegas, and Inglewood, before concluding their tour in Vancouver on September 9.

We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, the duo’s most recent collaboration albums, will be supported by the arena tour.

While everything appears to be going well for Metro on the professional front, he was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons after it was alleged that he had cheated on his long-term partner Chelsea Cotton with Shomari Amere.

Earlier this month, a friend of Amere’s shared many photos on Instagram that appeared to show the super-producer having a romantic relationship with her. The friend accused Metro of being unfaithful to Cotton.

The friend even seemed to imply that Amere was expecting a child by adding, “Main squeeze?,” next to one of the photos. However, @shomariamere is going to be the baby mom [emoji for sobbing face].

She said, “The least n-ggas could do is wrap it up if they respect their ‘woman,'” after sharing the suggestive photos. How come your tongue was right between my best friend’s knees and you got the biggest squeeze? Now that we are aware. We refrain from nasty d*ck. Girl, he’s all yours.

Since 2011, Metro Boomin and Chelsea Cotton have dated; the rapper has not addressed the claims.

In his diss track “Family Matters,” Drake made reference to Cotton and claimed she had cheated on him with one of his buddies.

He rapped, “Just like how Metro n-gga slimed him for his main squeeze.”

Drizzy’s assertion was denied by Metro, who said on X (previously Twitter): “We’re not going to spread lies and implicate my loved ones, but the drum thing was ridiculous, so I let it slip. We grew up together, and nobody ever hit my girl, n-gga [tear face emoji].

“[S]he’s a real woman and not even in the industry, so I guess you wouldn’t know about datttt,” he continued.
