POP SMOKE’S MOM SAYS INTERVIEW WITH HER SON’S ALLEGED KILLER IS ‘HORRIBLE’

The mother of Pop Smoke has come out against the supposed killer of her son being interrogated, calling the limelight “horrible.”

In an interview with TMZ on Thursday, July 18, Audrey Jackson discussed her views on King “Blockstar” Raskel’s media requests.

“That is terrible for something like this,” the woman replied. Do you truly want to interview him to find out what he thinks and where he stands? You’re not a helping hand, to start with. The fundamental idea behind L.A.’s law is that you should try to build a name for yourself and have a purpose in life by the time you are 25. I hope there has been some kind of change. But when you show there, everyone says, “Hey, bro!” What are your thoughts on what you did? Nobody is being helped by that. Are you going to tell me about gag orders? I’m going to investigate that since it seems reasonable to me.

When King Raskel was freed from prison earlier this month, the murder of Pop Smoke returned to the forefront of media attention.

Blockstar, who was only 15 years old at the time of the 2020 murder, informed Adam22 in an interview footage that No Jumper shared to Instagram that he had no regrets about the event.

“I apologise for nothing,” Blockstar said. Although that shouldn’t have happened, I don’t regret it. I would return if I could. However, I’m not sorry. Deaths occur daily. Pop Smoke was rapping about the subject. Everything under the sun. I’m not sorry for it, then.

“My condolences go out to the family. I hope it never took place. But I have no regrets at all. “You ain’t sorry for nothing,” my people and family used to tell me when I was growing up. Whatever you did, be sure you stand by the reason you did it.

Jackson responded to Raskel’s “disrespectful” remarks that she made when sitting down with TT Torez of Hot 97. When Jackson said four years ago that he does not feel regret for his part in the 20-year-old rapper’s murder, questions were raised.

“I’m not tuned into that,” she said, acknowledging that she had purposefully chosen not to watch the aforementioned interview. It doesn’t exist in my reality. Some of my acquaintances will stop by and ask, “Have you heard?” They’ll call me and ask, “Ma, are you okay?”

Jackson went on, “I was moved by your statement that he was being impolite because I’ve been informed that he has been acting impolitely during interviews. That will consume me, so I have to let it go. I have to let that pass.

The simple fact is that your life has ended. His life has come to an end. He is still alive, but if this is how he views his accomplishments, then life is over for him.
