Russ commends Kid Cudi’s early work, stating that it “really influenced so much.”

By claiming that Cudder’s impact is so significant that a lot of today’s music owes its origins to him, Russ has dramatically handed Kid Cudi his roses.

On August 19, Russ shared his homage on X early on Monday.

He started off by saying, “Cudi mixtapes and first two albums really influenced so much shit.”

“And since I was around 16 or 17 when they came out, I find it impossible to hear some of these people hype themselves up without thinking, ‘Well, this is just a negative perception of early Cudi,’ so I’ll just listen to what they’re actually trying to do.” When Cudi saw the message later that day, he replied, “[A]ppreciate the love, my G. Russ, keep crushing it out here. Cudi hasn’t always had such pleasant experiences on social media. He disclosed earlier this month that his Instagram account had been flagged, stating that the action was made for “lame” reasons.

The rapper gave the update on August 8 on X, formerly known as Twitter, although he didn’t go into great detail regarding the tweet that had been reported. “I just learnt that I received what is known as a’strike’ from Instagram because I uploaded a photo of a joint. How many other photos of me smoking have I posted since joining Instagram?” Horrible. It’s marijuana. The year is 2024. Make sense of it.

The following is stated in Instagram’s safe sharing guidelines: “We may suspend your account and remove any content that violates our community guidelines. Depending on the content’s seriousness, the sharing context, and the posting date, we may choose to impose a strike. The website doesn’t specify what happens after the first strike or how many strikes a user can have before their account is suspended.

Kid Cudi has always been active on social media, posting updates about his life, debating with followers and competitors, and frequently acting like Russ and giving his friends flowers. He took action in June because he felt that hip-hop needed more “love and support,” and he led by example by praising a leading producer in the genre.

The actor and rapper posted the following on X to express his opinions about the state of rap today: “In hip hop, man, we need more love and support for one another. I must also improve. He went on, “I try to show homies work sometimes, but I gotta really celebrate what my homies do, or even just think are dope people who I don’t know.” I believe you must get cool stuff out there in order to spread the planet.

The native of Cleveland then praised Hit-Boy, Jaden Smith, and Young Thug signee Strick.
